As a dancer, choreographer, and dance educator I believe in bringing back the human connection. My work is inspired by my own life experiences and the people in my life. My movement aesthetic is athletic, fast, staccato, grounded, and rhythmic. My choreography is focused on musicality oftentimes using the music as my inspiration mixed with my intention. My goal as a choreographer is to make the audience feel some type of emotion, while being engaged in the fast-paced, dynamic movement. As a young choreographer, I want to continue exploring who I am as an artist and continue defining my aesthetic.
I believe dance and art can change the world and create a more open outlook. As an instructor and mover, creating a connection and a sense of community is of high importance to me. This is where true, authentic emotion comes from on stage and in the classroom.
